The world has changed. The new generation of media consumers just isn’t in the habit of buying a magazine. Delivering a digital brand of a magazine is not that easy. It has its own constraints like lack of advertisement, using software sophisticated enough to be ultra-niche and managing an exclusive team for the project. This is in addition to the transport, printing and retail costs attached to it for the print magazine.
Nandankanan publication has taken up this challenge and will continue to make available the Odia magazine and story books in print as well as in e-book format. This is a long drawn project but we believe print magazines could continue to be there where a screen wasn’t. Our digitized version will be as entertaining as our print editions.
